今早與一位教育界的朋友談及他們處理所謂危機或投訴時的手法，感到他們的無奈及落差；心中看到他們的盲點，但並不在合宜的位置直諫，同時，又因被他們的認真和用心所感動，心中即時泛起聖法蘭西斯(St. Francis of Assisi)的禱文，稍覺安慰：

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
And where there is sadness, joy.

O divine master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive-
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
And it’s in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

後記：
這禱文充滿著相反相成的特色呢！同時，又著重反求諸己的精神！
與儒家最不同的有兩處地方：先死後永生，與及和平之用由他者而起。
