Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
And where there is sadness, joy.

O divine master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive-
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
And it’s in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

Make me a channel of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me bring your love,
Where there is injury, your pardon Lord,
And where there’s doubt, true faith in you.

Make me a channel of your peace,
Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope,
Where there is darkness, only light,
And where there’s sadness, ever joy.

O Master grant that I may never seek,
So much to be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love with all my soul.

Make me a channel of your peace,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
In giving all myself that we receive
And in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Make me a channel of your peace“。
For the score of the song, “Make me a channel of your peace" or “Prayer of St. Francis", please go to Wikifonia.

在The Online Library of Liberty,他們分享了Father Paschal Robinson在1906年所編譯的
27. Of the Virtues putting Vices to flight.
Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance. Where there is patience and humility, there is neither anger nor worry. Where there is poverty and joy, there is neither cupidity nor avarice. Where there is quiet and meditation, there is neither solicitude nor dissipation. Where there is the fear of the Lord to guard the house, the enemy cannot find a way to enter. Where there is mercy and discretion, there is neither superfluity nor hard-heartedness.
